Space Wizard Science Fantasy: Year 4, part 1. Seven new queer books!

Hi Folks,

I just got copies of Crying Out For Magic yesterday, so I'll be shipping those out as soon as I can pack them up! Such pretty covers!


I also still have 7 people who haven't filled in credit card information for the updated shipping costs. I can't send out your rewards until you do, so please get that in!

In other news, we are very close to the September 9th beginning of Printopia 2025, which includes our new anthology, Lesbians in Space: The Sapphics Strike Back! The cover looks amazing, and we've just gotten preliminary titles completed. Check out Serene Chia's amazing art, and then check out the campaign!


You'll also want to make sure you're signed up for our campaign running in November/December for the second half of our Year 4 releases. We're starting to get some great covers for these books, so check out the sneak peek below and make sure you're signed up!



I'll also be co-running another campaign at the same time for one of my writer friends, Geetha, in India. If you want a great trilogy of stories inspired by Indian mythology, and where the first book of the series was an SPFBO semi finalist in 2020 and an Indie Ink Awards Finalist in 2024, check this one out too!

Hi Folks,

Just a quick note. There was a certain segment of backers (if you backed an electronic reward in the campaign and then added physical addons in the survey) that didn't pick up the shipping cost correctly.

I only saw this as I was starting to put together orders and noticed the shipping cost wasn't covered. I'm working with Backerkit to push through a fix on this today. So if you are one of those backers, you will see an extra shipping charge for the campaign shortly.

Hi Folks,

I just got in copies of Waves Take Your Bones and It's You, Isn't It? (Doyle for scale). If you got a copy of Isaac in the campaign, you should have gotten an electronic copy yesterday. I've also sent out all the already published electronic books over the last couple days. When you read a Space Wizard book, it really helps our authors get the word out if you leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads!



I've got all the surveys processed, and I'll start shipping books, stickers, pins, and keychains out in the next few days! I'll get as much as I can done before we leave for Worldcon, and then continue when we get back later in August.
I'm also putting together a form for the free audiobook codes soon, so if you qualified for one of those, watch out for that in the next few days.
This campaign is going to be pretty quick compared to previous years, and I hope to have all shipping complete by early November!

Hi Folks,

Just a note that I'm locking down the surveys so I can start to get books out to you! In 48 hours, completed orders will lock, and then I'll start charging cards for any extra addons. There are still 25 people who haven't filled out their surveys, and the faster you do, the sooner you get your books. As soon as I have all the email addresses, I'll start sending out the eBook versions of everything.

I've already got copies of Isaac, and I've just ordered copies of Waves Take Your Bones and It's You, Isn't It? So get those last few surveys in!

Hi Folks,

I have all the surveys created and I just pressed the button on the smoke test! That means 5% of backers will get their surveys, as a test to make sure everything works. If all goes well, I'll send out the rest of the surveys in a day or two.

When you get your survey please fill it out soon as you can. Our new books will start releasing this month (in fact I'm getting some advance copies of Isaac in a couple days!) so the sooner you pick your books and extra swag, the sooner they get to you!

Hopefully I'll have some pictures of books with the next update.
